This was my reaction for about an hour or so after they yanked out my wisdom tooth.
Last wednesday, I had an emergency appointment with my dentist because I had been experiencing horrible and painful toothache for about 3 days. I don't know what i was expecting but it definitely didn't end with me losing my precious tooth.
Our dentist is a very in and out dentist. 10 minutes it took for me to sit in the chair and then walk out the door, toothless!
She looked at my tooth, and went "Yep, we can take that out"
My reply, "errrrr really? Well I'm pregnant, does that change things?"
UM NO!
Thats all she said. She assured me that the needles were safe for the baby and that it would be a bit uncomfortable.
Being the worry wart that I am, I kept repeating.. "it's safe for the baby? Your sure? like it's fine? Ok, well as long as it's safe for the baby, nothings going to affect the baby?!"
We got Luke in to hold my hand, I have never had any needles in my mouth before (I hate needles. Full stop!)
He said that my face was a picture when I was lowered back into the chair. I was scared out of my mind.
Now, she said uncomfortable, all I felt was pure pain as she shoved TWO needles into my mouth. The extracting of the tooth wasn't bad, I just felt pressure but the needles, man they tasted rank!
Those 10 minutes were quite traumatic for me!
However, my gap where my precious tooth once sat is all healed, well healing.
All I can say, one perk of being pregnant: Free dental care.
One major downside: It messes your teeth up big time.
It's no wonder they give us it for free.

Exercise in Pregnancy.
I have always been into keeping my self fit and healthy. However, now I'm pregnant... I can't be bothered. How bad is that?! Even though, I'm pretty sure it is one of the most important times for exercise.
I love going for walks so we do make sure that we go for a little wander every week, but even that wears me out.
I want to do more though! I want to be healthy through this pregnancy, even though I want to eat the most unhealthiest stuff- thats normal right?! I'm not alone on that one for sure!
So, how am I going to do more? Well we are going to go swimming every week and continue our walks and I'm going to try a bit of yoga or pilates. I hear thats what Kate Middleton is doing ;)
We actually went for a swim this morning (after only a small 'tantrum' from myself).
It was so nice. I could only last 45 minutes before I was tired but still thats 45 minutes of exercise I didn't do last week!
I've always loved swimming since I was a little girl and I think its important to do things that you love. I love trying new things but I always revert back to the things close to my heart or things that I know I can do!

What other things can I do to stay healthy? Any ideas would be welcome!
Happy Wednesday!

Reasons not to feed the ducks.
We all hear those funny pregnancy moments, throwing up in a car park or supermarket, well seeing as I didn't have morning sickness, my moments were a little different.
It all started with a simple walk to feed the ducks.
There is a nice reservoir just across the village, about a 10 minute walk away from our house. We grabbed our bread and off we went.
We feed the ducks or the swans which kept hogging it all.
The next second I felt dizzy, I told Luke I needed to sit down and stumbled to the nearest thing to sit on, a dirty, damp log.
I was blacking out. In which Luke replied, "Are you serious?!" --- ummmm no honey, i'm joking! DUH!
It wasn't long until I was sprawled out across the long, stripping down my layers of clothing in the middle of feeding the stupid ducks! Really?! This was happening?! Fainting while feeding the ducks!
Wow.
Luckily, my eyes came into focus and we made it home with me being held up by Luke like an old lady. He did catch me when I started falling backwards. What a husband.
No one told me how fun pregnancy symptoms could be.

Hello little lemon drop!
Our baby is the size of a lemon, a beautiful little lemon. It is so exciting to see how the baby develops week by week (courtesy of what to expect iphone app).
The first couple of months were interesting but I am looking forward to the next few because i'm hopefully going to start getting a bump that doesn't look like i've just eaten too much over christmas.
I am overwhelmed with different emotions at the moment, (my husband will tell you about all the fun he has been experiencing with my mood swings) one second i'm crying my eyes out over something stupid and the next i'm perfectly fine. The joys of pregnancy, right?!
It is the strangest feeling, knowing that the next stage of my life is growing inside of me, not just that, but I am becoming a MOTHER?! Oh my life, saying that out loud gives me goosebumps- the good kind of course! It is so exciting knowing that we are becoming more than a couple, we are becoming a proper little family.
All we need now, is a dog. But don't worry, thats next on my list.

Oh baby!
That's right! We are having a little bubba!
Baby Stilgoe is due 22nd July and we couldn't be happier!
It has been a whirlwind 3 months which have left me exhausted! Good news is though, no morning sickness! Hurrah!
We went for our scan on thursday and it was so incredible, the baby was bouncing all over the place! It wouldn't stop moving for them to take a picture, we had like 6 or 7 attempts but the little thing wouldn't stop fidgeting! It was the cutest thing. I can't feel anything yet so it was completely bizarre.
Baby we cannot wait for meet you!!
