Dear baby...

Your arrival is fast approaching and we cannot wait. 

We often stay up talking about what we are most looking forward to with you. 

We long for the cuddles with you. 

the kisses all over. 

the books we will read to you and the lullabies we will sing. 

the first grasp of our fingers and your new baby smell. 

Your daddy is so excited to have a bouncing baby girl, he dreams about the daddy-daughter dates you will go on and his inability to say no to you. 

I've carried you for nearly 9 months and I will miss the wriggly feeling of you in my belly,

the kicks and the pushes against my hands.

I look forward to being your mother and for the experiences we'll go through together. 

You are making us into a proper little family.
